I specialise largely in landscapes. The vast land stretches of the bushveld and Namibia fascinate me, especially where human influence has had very low impact.

I also love painting the faces of ethnic Africans, such as the Himba, Khoisan, San, etc.:  faces that tell a specific story.

I am enthusiastic and positive.  My experience has given me an excellent understanding of the need for precision and accuracy in projects.  

This precision forms a significant part of my painting technique and manifests clearly in my oil paintings.

I would love  to add water colours to my portfolio.

I started very late to paint in an attempt to transform the hard world of construction into the softer, gracious world of painting.
